Cancellation & Returns Policy

This policy explains how to cancel an order for a new shower bought from our online shop. It forms part of our Shop Terms. It doesn't affect your legal rights if a shower is faulty or not as described.

1. You can cancel within 14 days

You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you (or someone you name) receive the shower. If your order arrives in parts, the 14 days start when you receive the last part. You can also cancel at any time after you order and before the shower arrives.

2. How to cancel

Tell us before the 14 days are up. You can email lostoak@hotmail.com with your name, order number and the items you're cancelling, or you can use the form below. You don't have to give a reason. We'll confirm by email that we've received your cancellation.

3. Sending the shower back

Send the shower to Chris I-O trading as We Buy Any Shower, 9 Penntiow Golf, Cott Road, Lostwithiel, Cornwall, PL22 0FB within 14 days of telling us you're cancelling. You pay the cost of returning it unless it's faulty or not as described. Please pack it securely and use a tracked service, because the shower is your responsibility until it reaches us.

4. Your refund

We'll refund the price and the standard delivery charge you paid, using the same payment method (PayPal). The refund will be made within 14 days of us receiving the shower back, or within 14 days of you giving us proof that you've sent it, whichever comes first. If you cancel before the shower has been sent, we'll refund you within 14 days of you telling us. We don't refund the extra cost of any delivery option that was more expensive than our standard delivery.

5. If the shower has been used or fitted

You can handle the shower as you would in a shop to check it. If it has been fitted, connected to water or mains electricity, or damaged, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.

6. Orders with a trade-in discount

If your order included a trade-in discount, the discount is cancelled along with the order. For a working shower that qualified for cash, we'll pay you the cash offer (5% of the new price plus £3.50 towards postage) instead. For a marked or damaged shower, we'll return it to you if you ask, at your postage cost. See our Trade-in Terms.

7. Faulty showers

If a shower is faulty or not as described, you have separate rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These include a full refund if you reject it within 30 days. In that case we pay reasonable return costs.

8. Selling your old shower to us

This policy is about orders from our shop. If you're selling a shower to us, the Trade-in Terms apply instead.
